Busy builders in South Manchester

All has been quiet blog-wise recently as Brighter Architecture & Building have ramped up the workload! There's unfortunately been little time for updating the world on our adventures in Great Sankey, Warrington, Sale and Altrincham but rest assured the photos of our recent accomplishments are to follow - keep an eye on the gallery.

Recently, we've been busy in Stockton Heath, Warrington, building a ground floor wrap around extension, comprising of a downstairs WC, cloakroom, utility and pantry to compliment a beautiful 40 sq m kitchen and dining space. The huge black sliding doors cast plenty of light opening up the space and look really effective with black soffits and fascias complimenting them. The whole house has had an overhaul with new boiler, plumbing and full re-wire. We at Brighter enjoyed managing the entire process for our clients, liaising with them every step of the way to ensure they got their money's worth resulting with an end product we're all proud of. We look forward to sharing images of the finished product!

Floor levelling by Holly-Dog

Meanwhile over in Stockport, Holly-Dog as been keeping an eye on the floor levelling on our latest project. A period property over three stories including a cellar where we're knocking a living space through to a kitchen area, installing a new kitchen and all the associated plumbing and electrics to create a space that's more suited to a young family. We're installing all the mod-cons whilst being tasteful and in keeping with the style of the property itself. We're still on site and look forward to sharing the end result.

Note: Holly-dog floor levelling comes at an additional charge to the standard laser measure, this is to be arranged with our site manager David!

Bespoke vinyl / LP library storage

We've been busy with internal works in Wilmslow where initially our client has needed a recording studio building into the existing property, obviously with consideration to sound proofing and security. The whole ground floor has been refurbished and has included bespoke shelving to house a huge collection of LPs / vinyls.... what more could you want. We look forward to sharing progress on the remaining works at the family's home where we'll be building a stunning single storey extension with copious amounts of natural light and high quality finishing.

One of our current projects that has just kicked off is in Flixton, Manchester, where we have the pleasure of working within stunning grounds building a ground floor extension, completely glazed to two sides with rooflights ensuring the family can enjoy their space at a comfortable temperature morning, noon or night! Works have begun and are moving swiftly with excavation and foundations being set this weekend and block and brickwork commencing next week.
